Recipe - Number 5 from Rufus the Chicken
Beer Marinade Steak
- 3 lb sirloin steak, 2" thick
- 1 can beer (12 oz)
- 1/2 cup chilli sauce
- 1/4 cup salad oil
- 2 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1/2 cup coarsely chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
In a sauce pan, mix beer, chilli sauce, salad oil, soy sauce, onion, garlic, and mustard; simmer 30 minutes. Brush
meat with sauce. Place steak on grill. Cook 15 minutes on each side, basting frequently with sauce. Season with salt
and pepper right before serving.
